We had a small lean too on the side of the shippon, that was to become the porch. We had hoped to salvage the stone wall, and simply repair it. However it had suffered some serious abuse over the years. When we took a door lintel out, a huge chunk of wall fell down, and yet more cracked. BY the time we had removed all the dangerous stone, we worked out there was little left. We decided to rebuild it. The concrete truck charges for brining air to us, at the rate of 50% of the concrete price. As we did not need a full truck for the lean too we also did foundations for a garden wall.
I let my daughter have a go with the excavator. She turned out to be pretty good at it, she picked it up much quicker than I did, here she is in action.
We had a pile of steel mesh off cuts left, so these went in the foundations
